The service

Tara AI Studio makes pictures and short videos from the photos you send on WhatsApp: an avatar portrait of your face, a set of ten animated stickers of your face, a children's storybook with your child as its hero (a PDF, or the PDF with a narrated, animated video), and a reel: a copy of an Instagram reel you send us a link to, with your face in it. Everything is made by artificial intelligence and may contain errors or imperfections; we do not promise that any output is suitable for a particular purpose.

Who may use it

You must be 18 or older to place an order. A storybook, or a reel with a child in it, is ordered by that child's parent or guardian.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in the chat before you pay, in rupees in India and in your own currency abroad; the price quoted to you in the chat is the price you pay. In India: the avatar portrait is ₹9; a set of ten animated stickers of your face is ₹99; a storybook PDF is ₹149; the storybook video, with the PDF included, is ₹299. A reel is priced by its length, from 4 to 30 seconds: a 4-second reel is the sample, ₹349; a longer reel, cut to whole seconds, is priced by its length, taxes included (5 seconds ₹629, 10 seconds ₹1009, 20 seconds ₹1769, 30 seconds ₹2529); or a sample, the reel's first 4 seconds, for ₹349. For 30 days after your reel is delivered you can have the same reel in HD (1080p), for ₹299 for a reel up to 10 seconds, ₹499 for a reel up to 30 seconds, when Tara offers it under the reel. Reels and their HD copies are sold in rupees only for now. The avatar of your face is shown free before you decide on stickers or a storybook. Payments are processed by Razorpay. Prices include applicable taxes.

Delivery

Everything is delivered on WhatsApp. Stickers usually arrive within 6 minutes of payment, a storybook PDF within 4 minutes, the storybook video within 10 minutes, a reel within 20 minutes, and a reel's HD copy within 6 minutes; Tara tells you in the chat if an order is running late. If we cannot deliver, our Refund Policy applies.

Your photos and content

You may only send photos you own or have permission to use, of yourself or your family. For a reel, you may send the link to any public Instagram reel; the reel stays the work of the person who made it, and what we return is a copy with your face in it for your personal use. You must not use the service for anything illegal, violent, hateful, defamatory or infringing, to put a real public figure's face or name into a picture or reel, or to put anyone's face into a reel without their permission; a reel showing a child or a teenager in any sexual context is never made; we may suspend accounts that do. Before we quote a price for a reel, we look at the reel and at every photo, and we refuse only a reel with nobody in it, a reel showing a minor in a sexual context, and photos that show no face or anything unsafe. A reel with nudity, a child or sexually suggestive dancing in it is made all the same, and the price tells you so: the AI model that makes reels sometimes refuses such a reel, and if it does, the whole payment is returned to you by itself. A child's photo is never put into a reel with sexually suggestive dancing or posing. You keep the rights to your photos; you receive a personal, non-commercial licence to use the pictures and videos we make for you, which for a reel is a licence from us only and does not change the rights of the reel's maker.

Liability

Our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect losses or for how you use the pictures.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date at the top tells you when. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the courts at Bhubaneswar, Odisha.
